Karm Research Group is pleased to announce its latest grant award from Innovate UK, formerly the UK Technology Strategy Board.
In line with the Groups’ continued success in developing innovative and technologically advanced materials in multiple economic sectors, the latest ‘proof of concept’ award furthers Karm Research’s development of materials and products in the healthcare sector.
As part of this latest R&D project Karm Research Group (KRG) are also pleased to announce it will be working with the University of Liverpool’s Surface Science Research Centre and Unit of Clinical Engineering.
KRG was established in June 2011 with the specific aim of commercialising product Innovations across multiple markets and the team combines a wealth of technical & business skills with market experience, supported by key relationships within industry. KRG has a strong track record in managing technical projects, developing & exploiting research activities to ensure successful commercialisation of the technology and the latest R&D grant award signifies the company’s continued success in designed and developing innovative and market leading materials.
Innovate UK, formerly, Technology Strategy Board was established by the UK Government and operates as a business-led executive non-departmental public body (NDPB) which is funded by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) with an aim to fund, support and connect innovative businesses to accelerate sustainable economic growth by identifying those with the greatest potential for innovation to speed up economic growth.
